How agents should understand HEDGR Scout, the public /mcp discovery endpoint, and the authenticated product API boundary.

MCP posture

The live /mcp endpoint is the machine-readable MCP discovery endpoint.
Authenticated MCP tools expose read-only dashboard data for approved workflows.
Dashboard API routes are authenticated product routes, not an open public API namespace.

Scout

Scout is the in-app FX analysis assistant.
Scout answers questions from dashboard context and source records.
MCP exposes read-only data tools, not Scout chat history or private prompts.

Boundary: HEDGR provides analytics and planning visibility. It does not execute trades, move funds, provide investment advice, or guarantee financial outcomes.
